Booking the trailer in Leiden

When you wish to hire the trailer, you must hold a valid B(E) driving licence and be at least 21 years old.
Dimensions of the trailer
The loading compartment of the trailer has the following internal measurements: 2.50 m long, 1.30 m wide and 1.52 m high. The loading volume is approximately 5 m³. The trailer is also fitted with its own registration plate, so you do not need to supply a plate or note your registration on cardboard.
Which driving licence do I need?
Often you may drive the Eurobox Self Storage trailer with a category B driving licence. You can determine whether you are permitted to tow the trailer with a B licence by using the rules below:
You need a B licence when the trailer (1,350 kg) and the unladen weight of the towing vehicle combined do not exceed 3,500 kg (unladen weight + payload). It does not matter if the trailer is heavier than the car. Please note that the maximum speed on (motor)ways is 90 km/h when you are towing a trailer.
