Free insurance
Eurobox Self Storage offers you complimentary insurance for the duration of the rental agreement, making it the only storage company where you are insured up to an amount of €5,000 without having to pay anything extra. Other providers charge you a fixed monthly fee for insurance, starting at €15 or €20.
Undoubtedly, in addition to the insurance offered by Eurobox, you are also well insured yourself. Because Eurobox meets the highest fire and burglary requirements of the Dutch Association of Insurers, you may almost always store your household goods in a Eurobox facility under your own home contents insurance policy. However, we recommend that you take the time to read the small print of your policy, as exceptions may apply and these vary by insurer. You can contact your insurance adviser if you want to know how storing your household goods at Eurobox is covered in your policy. Please note you must always inform your insurer that you are going to store your belongings with us, as home contents insurance is always tied to a specific address.
The collective free insurance provided by Eurobox Self Storage for each individual storage unit ensures that you are always covered against fire, burglary and loss up to a maximum of €5,000. Unlike many of our competitors, you do not have to pay anything extra for this.
As an additional service to our customers, we offer this insurance free of charge for the entire rental period. Should your goods incur unforeseen damage and your own insurance does not pay out, you can always claim under the secondary insurance of Eurobox Mini Storage. Goods that conflict with the house rules and/or the general terms and conditions are of course excluded from the insurance. If €5,000 cover is not sufficient for you, we can arrange additional cover at cost price – just ask the Store Manager for details.
