Nearly every Eurobox branch rents out a removal van. All our vans have generous dimensions and a lined loading area, giving you plenty of space to carry out your transport without worry. All vans are well maintained and are provided with all-season tyres. That way you can be sure you and your belongings arrive safely at your destination. To rent a van from Eurobox you must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Dutch category B driving licence. - Lowest rates in the region - Insurance included - Superb maintenance - Equipped with all-season tyres - 100 free kilometres, thereafter €0.23 per km - Security deposit €250.00 - Generous interior dimensions Rates for hiring a removal van The hire of the removal van is €110 per calendar day (incl. VAT). A calendar day is counted within the reception opening hours of the branch. If you would like to check availability, please contact us so that we can reserve a van for you. Rental periods The van is mainly hired during Eurobox reception hours and must be returned half an hour before closing. We do not charge a separate weekend rate; on Saturday and Sunday the van can be hired for a day: Whole day Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 17:30 Saturday: 10:00 to 15:30 Sunday: 06:00 to 23:00 * (reception closed) By arrangement, the above times can occasionally be varied. Fuel costs The van is rented to you with a full tank and must be returned full. On return, our staff will ask to see the fuel receipt. If you fail to refuel the van, we will charge you for the fuel and for personnel handling. Additional kilometres Your hire includes 100 free kilometres; if you drive more, we charge €0.23 per kilometre (incl. VAT). How does hiring a van work? It is always wise to reserve the van well in advance to ensure availability at your desired time. You can reserve the van at the reception of Eurobox Self Storage or by telephone (number on the Contact Leiden page). Please note: reservations expire one hour after the agreed pick-up time. We will charge you if you do not honour your reservation. In case of force majeure, Eurobox reserves the right to cancel your reservation; we will inform you immediately. Force majeure includes damage to or theft of the reserved van and/or extreme weather conditions. Eurobox accepts no liability in such cases. Deposit The deposit for the removal van is €250 and must be paid in cash or by debit card in advance. Once you have returned the van undamaged, clean and with a full tank, the deposit will be refunded. Credit cards are not accepted. Excess Eurobox’s vans are insured provided the hirer/driver complies with the rental conditions. The excess is €750 for the hirer, and €1,500 in case of overhead damage. We may also pass on any first-year premium difference charged by our insurer when making a claim. The excess applies only if the damage exceeds its amount. Fines and traffic violations During the hire period, the hirer is liable for any fines resulting from traffic violations. We will forward any fines to you. Breakdown assistanceEurobox only rents very new moving vans; all our vans come with ANWB roadside assistance in the Netherlands. Taking the hired moving van abroad? Without prior written permission from Eurobox, you are not allowed to drive the van abroad. Without our consent, you may be uninsured.
